Digital C4 works very hard to protect the privacy of our employees, our customers and our prospects that visit our website. The following information details how we protect your privacy during your visit to and interaction with Digital C4.
Information Collected by Digital C4
The DigitalC4.com website is mainly used as a tool to help clients and prospects learn about our breadth of service, so we do not capture or obtain any user data. We do, however, collect personal information when you provide it to us, through our Contact Us web form or via our Newsletter Sign Up Form. This information is used to send users information about our company, and industry information that we hope is helpful in making smart decisions in your day to day business role. Users may opt out of receiving this information; see the “Opting Out” section (below) for more information.
Data Security
Digital C4 takes data security very seriously and take all necessary precautions to protect our users’ information. When you submit sensitive information via our web site, your information is protected both online and offline. Any personal information that is deemed security sensitive – such as credit card billing information – is always taken over the phone or in person. It is used and stored on third-party payment processing gateways already cleared for data protection standards.
Cookies
We love cookies. Chocolate chip are our personal favorites. At this time we do not use cookies – only eat them. If we decide that using cookies will improve the web experience for customers and prospects, we’ll be sure to let you know.
How We Use the Information
Digital C4 does not sell, rent, loan, trade, or lease any personally identifiable information to any other third party. We only use it to deliver what you asked for – relevant content designed to help you make informed decisions.
However, if at such time that Digital C4 should be sold (this is not in the immediate plans by the way), such sale or transfer would ordinarily include a sale of our customer list, which is an asset of our business. Digital C4 will inform customers via email at least 30 days immediately preceding the date scheduled for the transfer of assets. That notice will inform our customers that they may request removal from our database. On receipt of such request prior to the change of ownership date, the customer will be removed from the database prior to the ownership change.
MailChimp, a third-party application service provider, provides our email newsletter subscription service. When you subscribe to the Digital C4 newsletter (and we hope you do), we transmit your email address to them for newsletter distribution. Only the email address is transmitted and other more sensitive information is not. You may remove your email address from the database by following the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the newsletter that you receive at any time you feel that we are not delivering a quality, relevant publication.
Children
We have our own children that we love and protect and would never jeopardize their safety or the safety of others. We do not collect ANY information from any person less than 16 years of age.
Opting Out – Email List
The Digital C4 site gives users the option to remove their information from our database. To halt future communications from Digital C4, please feel free to send an email to privacy@digitalc4.com. If you wish to unsubscribe from our newsletter, simply click on the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of the newsletter and follow the instructions on the account profile page.
